Entregue nas versões masculinas e femininas, é uma roupa modular,
com a parte de cima feita de uma peça única, jaqueta e capuz,
e que podem ser adquiridas separadamente.
A peça única de manga comprida é feita de neoprene de
5mm, com um forte zíper YKK, completo com sistema Aquastop por baixo.
O sistema Aquastop, o qual consiste de um suave selador de neoprene de 1,5
mm, coberto em Metallite foi adotado para as áreas dos pulsos e tornozelos,
enquanto as áreas dos ombros e joelhos são protegidas dos desgastes
por grandes suplementos feitos de Power Tex.
As pernas são pré-moldadas para garantir um fácil e ótimo
batimento de perna.
A jaqueta de manga curta com capuz incorporado é feita de neoprene de
3,5mm e zíper até o queixo. Para limitar a infiltração
de água, tem um selador a prova d’água ao redor da face.
Technical details
The New Castoro is an evolution of the Castoro 2 model, with improvements to some important technical features and aesthetically restyled.
Like the preceding model, this is a modular suit for average water temperatures.
It consists of a 5 mm neoprene hoodless one-piece (the hood can be purchased separately) and a 3.5 mm short-sleeved jacket, with incorporated hood, which can also be purchased separately.
In order to reduce water seepage, the strong rear YKK zip has been combined with a special under-zip that creates an extra barrier against the entry of water that might seep between the cogs and the material of the actual zip.
This under-zip is a smaller thickness, so it adheres even better to the zip and to increase comfort.
The Aquastop system, which consists of smooth 1.5 mm neoprene seals, coated in Metallite has been adopted for the wrist and ankle areas.
The legs are preformed to guarantee great kicking ease.
The shoulder and knee zone is protected from wear and tear by large inserts made from Power Tex, a resistant stretch material.
For cold water diving, the double-lined 3.5 mm neoprene jacket can be worn over the one-piece. This jacket has short sleeves and incorporated hood. The zip is on the front, up to the chin. To restrict the entry of water, it has a watertight seal around the face.
The separate hood also has a watertight seal around the face, which also extends to the neck.
The design
The appearance of this suit uses the classic colour combination of black, yellow and grey, with the Cressi lettering threaded in white.
Who it is for
The one-piece is perfect for warm water. The presence of the Metallite seals and the large back opening offered by the vertical zip make it particularly quick and easy to put on and take off.
For cooler waters, you can add the jacket, which still guarantees excellent freedom of movement, because the total thickness is not excessive (8.5-9 mm).
